Dani-O (Lead Guitar) is a versatile artist who enjoys many genres of music, not limited to folk, blues, country, and swing. Singing, songwriting, and playing multiple instruments, she has been on the music scene in many projects including her own bands, award winning Sharonmarie Fisher's Women In Country, The Ironin' Maidens, and more. She has also dabbled in recording and scoring for television. Dani-O is currently excited to be the lead guitarist and one of the singers in The Grateful Dames.
Heathor (Rhythm Guitar) came to California in 1989 as drummer for the Milwaukee all female alternative band. She got on The Bus and followed the Dead up and down the west coast until Jerry died, then settled down as a graphic artist, designing logos for the Dead, The Who, Rolling Stones & more. After years away from playing, she met fellow-drummer Ann Vannoy at a drum circle, who encouraged her to bring music back into her daily, professional life. Heathor attended several of the early PITS Dead & Co. shows in Mexico, where she went viral with her online music quiz game, WTF AM I PLAYING?!?!, which she continues to this day, as well as performing solo acoustic on FB Live.
Forever a Bobby fan, she loves the band, the music, the lyrics… She lives the vibe of hippiedom daily.
Ann Vannoy (Drum Set) also plays congas, djembe, and Native American flute. Her drumming career began some years ago, playing the Hollywood clubs, many times with fellow Grateful Dames member Dani-O (Lead Guitar). By day, Ann is a Sound Therapist, Recreational Drumming Instructor, and a Reiki Master/Teacher. Ann would like to thank Remo Drums for the love and support for the Grateful Dames!
Holly the Hippie (Bass) plays acoustic guitar, electric bass, and mandolin. She attended over 100 Grateful Dead shows across the US, and has seen Dead and Company in Mexico, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Holly has played with Cubensis, Rusted Roses, and Token Rhyme. She joined the Grateful Dames as the bass player in April 2024.
Lindsay Vannoy’s (Hammond B3 and Keyboard) resume includes keyboard work/sound design with bands such as Alice Cooper, Hall and Oates, Lindsay Buckingham, Ann Wilson of Heart, and Elton John. Lindsay is excited to bring his talents to the Grateful Dames.
